Put on your dancing shoes ready for a Global Charity Dance Festival at The Brewery in Cheltenham on Saturday 16th July 2011.

Between 1pm and 6pm the outside space at The Brewery will be alive with music, featuring the infectious beat of disco, bongos and maracas. 

Under the guidance of DJ and dance teacher Thomas Melendez from Salsa Del Sol you can join in and move to the beat of the best of Latin music including Salsa, Mambo, Cha-Cha, Zumba,Kizomba,Samba, Merengue, Cuban La Rueda and Bachata. 

There will also be performances from Salsa del Sol Dance Team, belly dancing with Carol Gibbon and her girls from Mirage plus some breathtaking break dance performances by talented youngsters from Cheltenham's Danceworks. 

Flamenco dancers and guitarists will be raising the heat, and a variety of other musicians from steel drums to saxophones will be adding different flavours to the mix. 

And the kids can join in too with special line-ups for children, as well as a bouncy castle it promises to be a lively, colourful afternoon for all the family, and it’s all completely free ! 

Throughout the day we will be collecting for two family charities, Make a Wish and Winston's Wish. More details about these charities to follow.

By foot 
The Brewery is located in the centre of Cheltenham Town. 
It is situated parallel to the Lower High St and is easily reached. 

Pass Tesco Metro and at the end of the shopping parade turn right, The Brewery is located ahead on the right-hand side. The centre is only a 10-minute walk from Cheltenham Race Course where the famous Gold Cup Race is held. 

By car 
Cheltenham is located off junctions 10 (southbound traffic only) and 11 of the M5 motorway and on the A40 from London and Oxford. From junction 11, follow the A40 into Cheltenham town centre and then follow signs for North Place Car Park. When you reach St Margaret’s Road turn left and you will see The Brewery on the left-hand side with a dedicated 2-storey car park on the opposite side of St Margaret’s Road. 

From Junction 10, follow the A4019 into Cheltenham town centre. On approaching the town centre you will pass Matalan and ahead on the right hand side you will see The Brewery Complex. 

Parking
The Brewery has its very own dedicated car park operated by National Car Parks (NCP). Ample Disabled Spaces are also available. The car park is 2 storeys with complete CCTV footage. The entrance to the car park is sign posted from St Margaret’s Road and is situated on Monson Avenue. 

Park and Ride
Arle Court Park and Ride is signposted from junction 11 of the M5. Parking is free and the service runs to the town centre every 10 minutes. 

Cheltenham Race Course Park and Ride runs every 15 minutes. For details contact Stagecoach on 01452 425610 . 

By bus

By train 
Cheltenham central train station is just a few minutes drive from The Brewery and can be easily reached with a short taxi ride into the town centre. Click here to view the journey by car.
